Something About Birthstone

I remember I used to read an article about a piece of jewelry containing a birthstone gem will bring the wearer with good luck and protection. Monthly birthstones symbolize the month of birth.
The February birthstone poem reflects some of the properties with which the Amethyst is associated - stability, peace, balance, courage, inner strength, sincerity and a calm disposition. What is the Birth stone for February? The following old poem provides the answer!

"The February born shall find
Sincerity and peace of mind,
Freedom from passion and from care,
If they, the Amethyst will wear."

That article also said that Amethyst is a great stone to use if you are trying to increase your psychic abilities and enhance you intuition. Amethyst is an excellent stone for meditation and for opening the third eye. It increases your ability to open to new ideas and help open the channels to your higher self. For this reasons, many suggest amethyst for those seeking spiritual growth. Besides being a stone of tranquility and repose, amethyst is also known to enhance mental strength, stability, and vigor. It also is protective in averting the mind from psychic attacks and transforming negative energy in to that of positive and tranquil tenacity. It is commonly used to relieve headaches, sugar imbalances and general edginess. And It is said to also have a relieving effect on stress, grief, depression, emotional despair and ineffective communication… etc.

Is really it?

Hey, it doesn’t mean I believe in such thing above, but it won’t cost a thing if I buy it right? lolz

So, At TTP market, I was simply like “Gotcha!!”, when the seller said it is natural Amethyst. This small amethyst pendant costs only $11 including with the tiny silver necklace. It looks in shade of deep dark purple from outside, but when I reflect it with light, it looks crystalline pale purple. Pretty NICE!

I'm not interested in jewelry and I rarely wore this kind of stuffs, but now I'm somehow into pieces of those. I'm influenced by my cousin, I guess. She loves jewelry. She always wears in set. And now I'm learning to wear earrings. lolzzz Of course, not those funky silly style. But still I prefer those gemstones and silvers rather than diamonds and golds.
