Come away with me

No matter how independent we both are, living as a married couple, we still love the idea of running away together. We both are just a pair of birds and I love the idea thinking us as a pair of beautiful Blue Jay.

Dear Deja-Vu!

Massachusetts, It is good to see you again. And this time, I had a lot of fun and great time with my new girlfriends with a whole new experience. If only you realized that you were the point where my life have changed forever 6 years back. I bet you won't believe your eyes that I come back as a new brave, strong, proud and confident woman.

Museum: Early Human

After our full day tour around city mall of D.C, we decided to pick a museum to visit. Deep down inside I was thrilled that we finally visit at least one museum. It was nearly 6 pm, but luckily the museum opened until 7:30pm for that day which normally they close at 5:30pm, perhaps because there were many tourists. We went to National Museum of Natural History to see the HOPE diamond--a very popular and most valuable one the in the world.

In that huge museum, there are many, many halls. It's not only about gems and minerals, but they have Insect Zoo, Ocean Hall, Butterflies + Plants, Hall of Bones, Hall of Mammals, Dinosaurs/Hall of Paleobiology etc. But we could only went to see Hall of Mammals and Hope Diamond. THIS PLACE IS TOO BIG TO EXPLORE in just one hour or even a day! My jaw was dropping!

So, pictures below were taken at David H. Koch Hall of Human Origins at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. I sneaked out from my group there while the girls were enjoying taking pictures at Butterflies and Plants hall. But a few minute later, I was followed by the boys. I wish to upload all the photos at this place. So I picked some to share.

 I stood there like for some seconds and it went up from ,953 to ,983! *Eyes wide opened*

So we were trying to transform ourselves into early human in the booth. I also got them send my photos to my email too!

There is an app for iphone and android to transform ourselves into an early human too! Try them!

My transformed photo as a homo neanderthalensis, one of the closest relatives of modern humans.

Man! I feel like a woman!

It's been some years that I've never let go of myself and had a silly fun. It's been years for us that we  never laughed our belly off. I doubt where has our little girls in us gone. What has life done to us? Perhaps, we're all now grown-up. Perhaps, stress and strains has chained us. Perhaps we've never had times to meet often. Perhaps, perhaps. I thought I want some fun. I thought let forget about how old we are now. At least I want them to forget about life, and laugh real hard. Just for one day at least.

In the occasion of my little cousin birthday, I thought I should bring the camera (that heavy stuff!) and the notebook (he has it all!), so we can do photobooth together. Thank to my little Dino (Not human, of course!). He did us a huge favor! We went all silly and crazy in front of him and now we got all the pictures that we might don't want to show our children in the future (Heehee! or I might will). Everyone was running out of energy just because of doing insane photos, but we didn't want to stop until I had to run to restroom and threw up all the foods. How wasted! Yes! because I laughed too hard. My throat is sore and everyone said they sounds like men now. HAHA.

You may don't want to know even a CEO can be this crazy! But I fond of the idea that he doesn't like talking about politics, businesses or anything headaches. He loves having fun, talking silly over our catch up dinner! We--girls, should have done that long time ago. Now I told everyone let not talk about our stress and all the headaches all the time, instead try to have fun, treasure the precious times we barely have for each other. These day, I feel like the good old days!

Some friends...

... make you feel young and remind you how to have fun!

We've known each other when we went for high school enrollment together.

Three years later, we met again and became friend at 10th grade.

We formed our group at 11th grade.

We've became best friend at 12th grade.

Now she's a wife of my friend and a mother to a 6 months old son!

It's been more than 10 years.

And she's the one who reminds me all the crazy and silly memories together.

And I still see us when we are old and become grandma,

we might still call each other "Anh & Haeng", in khmer: "អញ & ហ្អែង"

ពីរោះឡើងដាច់សាច់ណាស់​ មែនហ្អេ៎? Hahaha​

That's not good!

Who knows, we'll might call each other, "Yeay yeay", in khmer: "យាយ​ យាយ" instead.

I guess only our friends we've known from our childhood always use this improper words to call each other, but I know it makes us feel closed though.
