Taken on the way from PS to BTB, where you can always see the wide opened bluest
and blackest sky with masses of floating clouds.
"Sometimes fate is like a small sandstorm that keeps changing directions. You change direction but the sandstorm chases you. You turn again, but the storm adjusts. Over and over you play this out, like some ominous dance with death just before dawn. Why? Because this storm isn't something that blew in from far away, something that has nothing to do with you. This storm is you. Something inside of you.
So all you can do is give in to it, step right inside the storm, closing your eyes and plugging up your ears so the sand doesn't get in, and walk through it, step by step. There's no sun there, no moon, no direction, no sense of time. Just fine white sand swirling up into the sky like pulverized bones. That's the kind of sandstorm you need to imagine.
And you really will have to make it through that violent, metaphysical, symbolic storm. No matter how metaphysical or symbolic it might be, make no mistake about it: it will cut through flesh like a thousand razor blades. People will bleed there, and you will bleed too. Hot, red blood. You'll catch that blood in your hands, your own blood and the blood of others.
And once the storm is over you won't remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won't even be sure, in fact, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm you won't be the same person who walked in. That's what this storm's all about."

Great describing, the writer made me imagine as if I am the one who made it through the sandstorm.
It's true once you come out of the storm you won't be the same person who walked in, but you will be a stronger one. ^^ The thing that doesn't kill us, only make us stronger!
Reading it, in time, brings back all the memories I encountered and struggled and thought of how you managed to carry along. It must happen to you too, isn't it?
Yes, this is how life is! The older we get, the more challenges we face... and it's pretty amazing to look back to see how we have made it through.
I can feel the author while reading, and I think you do too. You're sort of emotional too right?
I wish I could write like Haruki, I really wish I could have such amazing perspectives and not just illusions of reality. We all should walk into the storms and experience the change rather than watching it through the window of our comfort zone.
@Kunna: Hehehe. Maybe I am. I’m emotional type. What can I do? Sometimes I can be over-emotional. That’s too bad.
@N: Haruki’s books are on your way. I’ve been prepared it for you long time already, but I want you to read Jonathan first. –Wink-
And I’m sure you’ll love his works more. Because if you have a pencil, you’ll never get tired of highlighting his beautiful lines.
REALLY? You've prepared that already? Oh, it feels like a thousand dollar to me! I love Jonathan's book a lot, and I also want to read Haruki's too, besides I trust your picks. Hehehe
Well,I notice that you've turned to read a lot of reality novels...you know...like Mitch and Jonathan type of work. I used to hear about you reading horror novels and fantasy books back then, but now I'm the one who read them although I used to make face when I saw one.
I guess I have infected horror-novels-reading disease from you! Lol...
Hahahaha since when you start saying, “It feels like a thousand dollars?” lol
I trust your picks too.
Whoaaa, I’ve never noticed that I changed. THANK YOU for reminding me. And yeah, I love those horror, fantasy, detective… wow I feel so good when you told me this. THANK YOU!!! And it’s so good you infected this from me. At least, I feel like make a smirk face! lol
I bet you know why I started to say 'a thousand dollars'.
You freak me out, why are you so thankful about that? I just wonder why suddenly we both switched roles. Maybe we should write a post to explain why we change our taste. It's weird but kinda funny.
You both are the real book-worms :P
