The Wednesday Letters

A novel by Jason F. Wright

I've read this book review somewhere months ago and I just recalled and googled this book review again just now. So much I want to read this book, but too bad that I'm not allowed to read until I finish applying my ophthalmic gel and sterile ophthalmic drops which doctor prescribed me. So I have to put everything on hold, even starting school. However, this book is added to my to-find-to-read list.

The Plot:

Jack and Laurel have been married for 39 years. They’ve lived a good life and appear to have had the perfect marriage. With his wife cradled in his arms, and before Jack takes his last breath, he scribbles his last “Wednesday Letter.” When their adult children arrive to arrange the funeral, they discover boxes and boxes full of love letters that their father wrote to their mother each week on Wednesday. As they begin to open and read the letters, the children uncover the shocking truth about the past. In addition, each one must deal with the present-day challenges. Matthew has a troubled marriage, Samantha is a single mother, and Malcolm is the black sheep of the family who has returned home after a mysterious two-year absence. The Wednesday Letters has a powerful message about forgiveness and quietly beckons for readers to start writing their own “Wednesday Letters.”

Though I have not yet read it, but after reading this plot, I should suggest them to find this book and read. Well, for my dearest ones who are going to get married, let's see if I can find this book and I will buy several to send it as wedding gift and of course I will keep one for myself too. lolzz

I had trouble dealing with adult books esp about marriage and stuff. But when I started to read more of them, I began to think about my own future family. It's how we can learn to foreseen the future of our own, even if it's from the books but it really worth reading...I want to read this one too!

@GB: I'm sure you will find this book before me as u know it's not that easy to find the bookstores in PP.

@Nathary: For me, I got to know about adult's stuffs since I was underage. I'm surrounded by adult and opened mind people and as well I spend time with them more than people about my age. That's why I interest in adult things more. Well, I've seen a lot of things about them and I tend to shape my root as best as I can just to get a good life ahead.
